In life we are given many challenges, life definitely has highs and lows.
The bible says in John 16:33
“I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.”
As we walk up mountains and down into valleys with God, we must remember He is the God of the Mountain and the valley. He is beginning and the end!
Even as life throws us things, we sometimes feel like we lost it or we didn’t win; we didn’t achieve anything at that moment in life; we might feel like we’re in last place, but in the race with God, He allows us to be first even when our eyes see last. He is generous with His love. I have been reflecting each day as I wake up and talk to the Lord, and I have an idea of how I want my day to begin and end. It’s not always the way I see it or I wanted, but I can be thankful that the Lord allows me to not stay in the place of what I did or didn’t do. He allows me to see that you can try again in Him.
“So, the last will be first, and the first will be last.”
We must remember the champion God is our Victory. He did it all and took it all. He is our redeemer, our counselor, our great physician. He is the way, and He makes a way! All we must do is follow the way in the good days, bad days, in the gains and pains!
Remember in Matthew 16:33 after the trouble, comes the encouragement of taking heart. We must take heart! We must know that, like in Psalms 121:1-8, my help comes from the Lord!
He is the God who will not sleep on you. He will protect you! He will keep you close as He watches your coming and going!
So, I encourage you to trust the process. The plan God has for you is to prosper, not to harm. Know that He will never leave nor forsake, no matter what. He is near to the broken hearted and when we dwell in the house of the Lord, we show His salvation to others. Continue to shine your light no matter how dark it gets. Even if you feel like you’re about to lose, you will still win! In God’s eyes, we already won! We hit the mark, we touchdown, we claim it as co-heirs in Christ.
If you believe it, say Victory is mine!
