Happy 2023.  We are already ending the 2nd month of the year.  Time is passing quickly.  By this article, I hope to encourage you to cherish every moment we are given.  We can become a people who walk in the presence of God at all times so that the ones in darkness will be drawn to the light we carry.

God is calling is to UNITY.  It was the theme of Tuesday prayer. The definition to unity is “the state of being united or joined as a whole”.  I know this is attainable because it happened in Acts.

Acts 1:4 Jesus had risen from the grave and was spending 40 days with the disciples (v. 1-3) and then the commission in verse 4 when Jesus commanded them to WAIT to be baptized by the Holy Spirit. We have the privilege of knowing who the Holy Spirit is. We get to walk in His presence and move in His anointing and set lives free.

Act 2:2 “When the Day of Pentecost had fully come, they were all with one accord (joined together in unity) in one place…They had to wait until they were all in one accord and then the Holy Spirit fell upon all of them.

John 17:20-24. Jesus commissions us to believe in Him that we ALL may be one with Him. If it were not possible for us to reach unity in Him, He wouldn’t have commissioned us.  Powerful idea. Just think what move of God we would ALL see!

It is the little foxes that spoil the vine. This means the little things is what keeps us from getting to the best fruit – the fruit of the spirit.  A little fox can be little offenses. We can choose to focus on the little things or rise above them and walk in God’s true love for others.

Did you know that you choose to be offended. You plant the offense when you get upset because he/she didn’t wear the right clothes, walked past you without saying hello, didn’t arrive on time, didn’t respond to your text, etc. We pass our judgement on that person without them even knowing it. You also lock yourself into your own judgement.  Set yourself free and don’t listen to the little offensive ideas that come to your mind. Quickly turn them around and bless the person you are offended by. You will reach a freedom in your heart that you are not used to. You will hear God more clearly, you will feel lighter, and you will see more of God’s glory in your daily life.

This sounds like a very simple change of heart. It is not, however, we can do this! Ask God to help you. Together we can reach a place of unity and become a force with the Spirit of God to move the mountains we face. We can see the revival we’ve been crying out for. We will get to be a part of the greatest move of God. We will see His glory wherever we go. We will move together in unity like in Ephesians 4, particularly verse 13:  “till we all come to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to a perfect man, to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ”.  Chew on that!  Read the chapter. I love you, my friends.

We are “Freedom Culture”!
